What is included with the camper van hire?
Our camper vans come equipped with the essentials you need for a comfortable trip, including sleeping facilities, cooking equipment, onboard electrical power and the equipment required for off-grid adventures.

Where can I take the camper van?
You can take your Bigfoot camper anywhere in the UK where camper vans are legally permitted. Whether you're heading into the Highlands, exploring the North Coast 500 or simply escaping for a weekend, the van is built for adventure.
Can I take the camper van off-grid?
Absolutely! Bigfoot Campers are designed with off-grid adventures in mind, giving you the freedom to spend time away from campsites and traditional facilities.
Please ensure you always follow local access, parking and camping regulations.
How many people can the camper sleep?
The camper is designed to comfortably sleep 3 people, there is a full size king bed and a smaller bed suitable for anyone under 170cm.
Please check the vehicle specifications before booking to make sure it suits your group.
What driving licence do I need?
A standard UK Category B driving licence is normally sufficient to drive the camper, provided you meet the relevant age and insurance requirements.
We'll confirm the requirements with you before your booking.
Is there a minimum age to hire?
Yes. Drivers must meet our minimum age and driving-history requirements.

Can I bring my dog?
We love adventures with four-legged friends! 🐾
Dogs are allowed in the camper, subject to our pet policy. We are one of very few camper hire companies that don't have any extra charge for taking your furry friends but we ask that the camper is returned in the condition it is handed out to allow us to keep this as a free service, Please let us know when booking if you plan to bring a dog.
Can I take the camper outside the UK?
International travel is not allowed. If international travel is required, please make us aware before your trip and we may be able to make arrangements to suit.
What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?
Don't panic! We'll provide you with emergency contact information and support during your hire.
We'll also give you a digital handover before you leave so you understand how the camper's main systems and equipment work.
What happens if I damage the camper?
You'll be responsible for any damage caused during your hire, subject to the terms of your rental agreement and your security deposit.
We'll carry out a vehicle condition check before and after your hire.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A refundable security deposit of £1000 is required before your hire begins.
The conditions will be clearly explained during the booking process.
How do I collect and return the camper?
We'll agree your collection and return arrangements with you before your trip.
The camper must be returned at the agreed time and in the agreed condition.
Do I need to clean the camper before returning it?
We ask that you leave the camper reasonably clean and tidy.
Any specific cleaning requirements or additional charges will be explained in your rental agreement.
Can I cancel my booking?
Our cancellation policy will depend on how far in advance you cancel.
